Wanting to sell my car....some tips and advice needed x?

I have considered selling my car whic am not happy to do but have no other option because my partners left me and the children, leaving me with financial difficulties right now and I am completely crap with cars, yay am a woman and only know how to drive them lol.

Its a silver Fiat stilo 1.6, its a lovely car apart from it now needing a new back bumper cause of some idiot that hit it whilst it was parked.

Any ideas of what I should do, getting it fixed will cost 300 and thats including bumper from where I have had a quote but again am thinkin would it be better just to sell it and let the new owner sort that?

How much would you ask for?, I purchased it for 3500 and am the second owner.Wanting to sell my car....some tips and advice needed x?
If you can get me some more details I will get you an acurate valuation. Need the mileage, year and what specification (active, active sport, dynamic) and is it 3 door or 5 door?

The car will be worth a lot less than book price though if you dont get it fixed as you will be selling it as accident damaged!!! The prices below are a guide to what it might be worth in good condition, taxed and mot'd.

2002 with 100,000 miles - 拢1000

2004 with 60,000 miles - 拢2500

Hope this helps a little

The book price for your car is 拢1600-拢1800 but with the market the way it is, and the fact its damaged, you'd be lucky to get 拢1200. I know its not good news but this is an honest apraisal of the car in its current condition. The used car market (along with everything else just now) is in a bad way. Hope things look up for you this year, best wishes to you and your family, fatrab.Wanting to sell my car....some tips and advice needed x?
you could get a second hand bumper for 拢20-25 from a scrappy and have it painted for 拢80 i think i would leave it for the new owner if its not to bad, as for how much its worth, would need to know the year and mileage etc, have a look on autotrader.co.uk and see how much others are going for in the same age
It is an awful time to sell cars for prices are plummeting.
