I am 18 and basically have to move out at the end of May so I'm hoping for some advice/tips?

Like I said I am 18, well both my parents are deceased and I live with my grandparents. Because my parents are deceased , I get survivors benefits but that is only until August or January depending on what I decide to do about school. I have a 1/2 credit left before I can graduate, I can take that over the summer but that would mean my check ending in August or I can go another year in high school but the check automatically stops when I turn 19 in January so then I wouldn't get a check the last 5 months I was in school and I'm not sure I could work enough to support myself while in school. I'm also not sure if I should rent an apartment or try to buy a house, also renting a room from someone else is an option if I can find someone. Another one of my biggest questions/ concerns is if I finish high school this summer and start a two year college in August which would be paid for by hope, are there any programs that would give me money for like housing and books?

Thanks in advance!I am 18 and basically have to move out at the end of May so I'm hoping for some advice/tips?
Don't expect a free hand out, get a job and make a budget. Get a roommate to help cut costs. You won't be able to afford a house stick to renting for a little while until you finish school, get a good paying job and have a sizable downpayment.

Going to school and working at the same time is not the most fun but is very much do-able. Apply for scholorships to help out with costs. If you are your own dependant apply for federal aid (FAFSA), your college should have someone who knows what to do.I am 18 and basically have to move out at the end of May so I'm hoping for some advice/tips?
Might I suggest a call to United Way to ask for a professional counselor who can help you list your goals and talk you through a checklist to achieve them while weighing the pros and cons of each option? United Way can tell you of free programs that you qualify for. Although your questions are brief the answers would be elaborate to truly answer you. My advice in short is not to let anything get in the way of your education... nothing!!! There are programs out there for you that you qualify for. Again the United Way or your counselor can help.
