Huge Track Meet Tomorrow! Advice,Tips,& Past Experiences!?

The track meet is tomorrow. I'm in the 100m,200m,400m, long jump and triple jump. I'm also in the grade eight girls relay(100m per person) but I might go to the grade nine girls relay too. (they asked me to go into it. SCORE!!) So any tips? And food I can bring to give me lots of energy? And a good brand of running shoes (preferably light weight, I run much better in bare feet, and I'm betting they won't let me run like that.) Thanks so much!Huge Track Meet Tomorrow! What to drink:


Water


Gatorade (Use the powdered version, it's healthier for you)





Food:


Peanut butter sandwich


For lunch you should have something with pasta in it.


Anything with carbs





Shoes:


Nike-first best


Asics-second best





Tips:


Stay relaxed


Picture your self winning

I was in track, before running i really needed some sort energy drink. Like Gatorade or water( i would prefer water). you just have to relax, and a really good advice from my coach. When running, say it t yourself ';I CAN DO IT.'; You just have to think that you are on an ISLAND, and the last boat is leaving, YOU HAVE TO GET ON IT. i hope this helps. :)
NO WAY!!!!..dont drink gatorade...you will crap up....if u do drink it drink it AFTER you run and event,,





--just pace ur self!

ask if they will let u run barefooted
