Lip piercing? i need advice, tips, etc. thankss.?

alright, so i really want my lip pierced.


and i've gotten my ears pierced before, that wasn't too bad of pain, i was just a little light headed afterwards(im not good with needles. :p)


but, my ears got infected, 'cause my piercer was an idiot. haha.


i woke up one morning, and my ears were HUGE. like, i couldn't see each side of the earrings, the front and back of both, went completely inside my ears.


worst pain ive ever felt in my entire life.


;;%26amp;%26amp;yes, i followed all of the cleaning instructions, so idk why it got infected.





:l but i want to know what the pain of a lip piercing is like, just so i can be better prepared.


and don't say like ';well, its gonna hurt.';


'cause i already kinda know that.





and any advice?


like, where to go(i live in pittsburgh, know any good places around here?), cleaning instructions, what to do when im actually getting it pierced, etc.

I got my lip pierced like the other day. Don't worry, it so doesn't hurt!. Ohkay if you are underage to get it yourself, you need a parent gaudian, picture id of some kind and a birth certificate.


When you are getting it done don't let the person doing it count down! just let them do it unexpectedly, it helps. But honestly it doesn't hurt, just a little sting. afterwards it swells and gets sore. And it's not easy to eat anything. For the first 2 week only drink water, no kissing, rinse with diluted mouth wash 50/50 after you eat anything. Avoid hot and spicy foods. No make up like powder and mosturiser. After you get it done try not to smile and laugh, it kinda hurts. Your lip will get swollen for awhile, don't worry. Do not touch your piercing or around it. Twist it every once and awhile so it doesn't get stuck to your healing skin, but just wash your hands with anti bacterial soap first. Avoid swimming. Just keep it clean. Ibprofen helps the swelling and pain. Don't pick at it, it's like a scab, it's healing.Lip piercing? i need advice, tips, etc. thankss.?
Don't pierce your lip :S What's the point? It doesn't look nice, it reminds me of how people would brand animals. They would put a piercing in their nose or a mark on them.





It doesn't look nice, and people, especially in the business world, won't take you seriously anymore. You can be smart and sophisticated, but the moment they see facial piercings, they won't be as likely to hire you.
well its gonna hurt a little and then it will swell up and get infected for 2 months or so the longest 3 months. it hurts most of the time so u still have to keep cleaning it. so its a big resonsibility yo take care of it. it will all be worth it in the end i did mine myself but i woulnt recomend that
well it usually doesnt look good, but it is something i would do, and i dont think it would hurt so if you want you should, and thanks for the advice
