Need Help advice tips/14yr GIRL another lie :now Hicky !!?

I caught my 14 yr girl yesterday lieing about her whereabouts again yesterday ....My fault for beliving she was to meet me home at 8pm ....so Im here waiting ,,,called her cell(she told me she was coming from jazmines house ...lie) ,drove around to possibly catch her direction , 10min later here she comes running from the oppsite side of jazimes house , with her other friend (girl) ..I was so pissed off cuz I somehow smelled a lie and a boyin the picture !!Needless to say I did give her the ok to have a bf over the phone ...I know his family pretty well...he is an ok stay out of trouble kid ...same age 14 ...anyway ..(back in the house ).giving her the ';where the hell have you been lecture ';and after tossing her beloved cell phone in the street so the cars can run over it(outside ) ,,,she has her hair in a ponytail to the side ,,,trying to talk to me with a crooked head ....DUH ,,,I get closer and so calmly ask ...SO WHERE DID YOU GET THAT a mild pink HICKY??!! Anyway to make a long story short I grounded her , manage to find the kid , ask him calmly for tge truth ,,he did not deny he did manage to see her ,apoligized for his contribution...and asked me not to let the rest of the family know what happend...I in turn told him I did not apprieciate his adding to the lies and would go to his dad (he dont play eithier)if this c*** continues ....any advice /did I do right ? How would you handle ...am I doing anything right or wrong here ? I dont want to see my A-B girl go down in her grades for such premature love....I am worried/in shock /scared /nervous ...hurt :(Need Help advice tips/14yr GIRL another lie :now Hicky !!?
Well, it sounds like you don't need to let your daughter go places without supervision anymore.......If she's going to a friend's house, be sure she knows that you will be calling the other girl's parents to verify that she has arrived there when she is supposed to be and that she has stayed there. If you do not trust the other girl's folks, then you need to make random stops at their houses, to verify in person, that she is where she is supposed to be.





If she wants to see the boy that bad and you feel comfortable with it, only allow her to see the boy at your home, where you can supervise them. Or if they want to go to the movies, etc....you go with them.





You obviously need to allow her some freedoms because she's going to sneak behind your back if you don't. Short of locking her up for the rest of her life, you can only supervise her as much as possible and check up on her constantly to make sure that she is telling the truth!

Well, the way you handled the whole hicky thing was right, but I think you should allow your daughter to see her boyfriend, if he's her boyfriend, she shouldn't have to only be able to talk to him on the phone.





I'm a straight A (15 year old) student, and wouldn't let my grades slip even if I had a girlfriend.
chill out. thats what kids do. and if you continue to punish her for being a teenager, she will rebel. and you'll be even more pissed.
Well hickeys are found on a lot of kids now. a boyfriend may try to be suductive but your daughter may of said no that may be why it was only a mild hickey
