Skiing tips? good advice?

i am skiing for the first time ever! eekk! what should i do to make it fun?Skiing tips? good advice?
If you can I highly recommend a lesson! I've been skiing for 15 years and I can say that would be my best advice. I'm not going to lie your first time is hard but just keep trying and don't give up. If you do that I promise you'll go every year for the rest of your life!!!! Keep your knees bent, remember you CAN stop, once you get turning down your there.Skiing tips? good advice?
well skiing is basically my favorite thing to do in the world. EVER. what you can do is try it on the bunny slopes until u can make it down a few times then move to the main hill. you can try to challenge yourself by going down some bigger trails. don't go on the same one over and over again because that gets boring. if you fall don't get discouraged. just get up and keep going. you can even do some woods trails if you want. they always are fun but don't go to fast or u wont be able to stop because they are normally narrow and you may hit a tree
My advice, ride a bunny hill or something a couple times. Practice turning and stopping until your pretty confident. Then, jump into it. Take another bigger hill, its better if you just do it so skiing will come more naturally. Thats how i did it. I was riding black diamonds my first day. Good Luck! :)
I would recommend that you take some skiing lessons. They will teach you the correct techniques in skiing, and they will also show you some fun and innovative ways of skiing.
How much time do you have? It's easy and fun, if you are in good shape and have good muscle tone. It will be a lot more fun the better physically equipped you are. Work you thighs and abs.
i know one thing, when you're going down a hill,hunch over so you don't fall and put your ski poles by your side
get a lesson it will make u love skiing and u will get good
Don't go! Trees seem to just jump right out in front of you.
get a lesson then ski by ur self. thats wut i did and i cant wait to go again!
