Cna tips? any advice is appreciated.?

i am starting a new cna job... any tips?Cna tips? any advice is appreciated.?
from one CNA to another. Develop a thick skin.

sometimes the residents and nurses can get to you.

the nurses can be particularly evil sometimes. of course that doesnt apply to all nurses.

also memorize all your abbreviations as much as possible. this will help speed up your report and record process, and it helps because the CNAs and nurses tend to speak in Abbreviations as well..

good luck and congrats with the new job!Cna tips? any advice is appreciated.?
CNA -You mean certified nurse assistant? If so, this is a physically demanding job specially if you work in a Nursing Home. You have to have patience and love to care for elderly patients.

You can also work for a Home Care Services taking care for an elderly or handicap in their homes. You can either work full time or part time. You have to have your own transportation.

CNA's also work in Hospitals. CNA in hospital setting provides the most direct care to the patient. You make a little bit more money working at the hospital than at nursing homes or the Home care services.

You can learn more about CNA by typing on google, ';Job duties of a hospital cna'; or just simply ';Job duties of cna';.
