Hair change, advice/tips?

my hair has always been crazy and out of control. i was on the swim team, and the water really damaged my hair. it got really bad, and instead of brushing it, i would just throw it up into a ponytail, out of pure lazynes and shortage of time. needles to say, it got pretty damaged and matted. now that seasons over, i want healthy hair again. tonight i have my mom cut out the dreds (it was THAT bad) and we deep conditioned it. she cut off some inches, and brushed threw it. but now its completely flat. i always relied on my crazy hair for quick, cute updo's.

so my question is, what can i do with my hair to make it look cute and funky now that its flat. before, it came down past my shoulder blades, and now it comes a little past my shoulder. im more into the funky style. any tips on how to make straight hair look cute and funky?Hair change, advice/tips?
you should definatley think about getting a scene cut, I hate to put a label on it, but there isn't really another way to put it.

the layers and the bangs make any hairstyle look cute and funky, and you don't even have to be ';scene'; to get one!

just go to photobucket and search ';scene hair'; and many pictures will pop up!

I hope i helped, that sucks you had to cut your hair.Hair change, advice/tips?
after you shower, put moose or gel in your hair and blow dry your hair upside down. what i mean is, flip your head over and keep working your fingers through it as you dry it. Blowing it dry this way will give it more volume.
two things you need to products straightening serum and curling gel it will moisturize and help you make it more reckless that's what i do
