Need to lose at least 2 - 3 lbs a week! Any advice!! tips!!Plz Help!!?

I am 16 yrs old, 5';7' ,and 247 lbs. I am very happy with the way i look but i know it is unhealthy and it is hard for me to shop being a plus size teen. I am currently a member of a huge gym(anything i need will be there). I'm totally new to this diet stuff so i would like any help i can get. I don't know what to eat or what to do... i want to lose at least 2-3 lbs every week and i want to get down to a weight of about 140. i know it will be challenging and i am willing to accept that. Your help would be much appreciated.

A good tool i think to use when you are calculating how many calories to eat a day is you take your goal weight and add a zero to it. So eat around 1400 calories a day. Try to cut out all juices and soda. Make healthy snacks ahead of time so when you are hungry you don't just grab for anything. Another good thing to do is hire a personal trainer for a week or two to show you some good workouts. It is challenging but once you start seeing some results it will be a lot easier to stick to it. I started out at 225 and now i am at about 189. I still have about 45 pounds to go. Just take it a day at a time. If you have a week moment and binge don't let it discourage you, just start fresh the next day and don't beat yourself up about it. I wish you the best of luck.
Actually, you don't have to diet as such if you want to lose weight, the sole thing that clearly worked for me was green tea, it can be checked out in the resource box below, they have a limited number of free trials in stock, it was highlighted in Reader's Digest and USA Today. I shed twenty pounds, it clearly does produce results!
