Any advice/tips on my headshot tomorrow?

I'm getting my head shot tomorrow. I know it should look like you and pretty simple but still have you looking really good.





Should I ask for a photo that takes my picture straight on or at a slight angle?





I'm Asian so I have tan skin and black hair...should I wear clothing that is dark or very light?





I will wear ';natural'; makeup. But I was debating on ';enhancing'; my look with liquid eyeliner or just keep it simple as if I'm not wearing make up at all.

I think you should use regular eyeliner because agents and casting directors want to see a blank canvas with which they can do with what they want. If you use too much makeup, they will think of you as edgy and will only cast you in edgy roles. I recommend using very little eyeliner very neutral eyeshadow line gold with a little shimmer. Unless you have light or short eyelashes I would only use one coat of non-clump mascara. The lip color in the picture of your with liquid eyeliner is perfect. I don't think blush is necessary. If this is for acting or modeling and you have to get them for an agent, I would recommend putting on very little or no makeup. Casting directors are looking for natural talent, and they'll have makeup artists on set with you.





If it's just for you then I would say that some makeup is ok. It's meant to enhance your look so don't apply too much. Basically keep it to a minimum but feel free to outline your eyes and lips and blush.
