Mud boggin tips or advice?

i am about to turn 16 i have boughten a 1988 ford bronco full size about a year ago. it needed alot of work but i am going to use it for mud boggin i got a 6 inch lift on it. i am about done with it. and i am about to go boggin with it for the first time in about a week or two. i have been boggin before but i never drove so does anyone have any tips or advice or even personal experience for when i go boggin for the first time with my bronco.Mud boggin tips or advice?
never go without a tow rope, and at least a come-along (lever-powered winch).


It takes practice and understanding, which is tough if you've not driven the Bronco much. You kind of have to know your vehicle before you abuse it.


In general, you want to try to go through in the tallest gear possible, to prevent getting stuck. Lower gears put too much power to the wheels at lower speeds, increasing your chances of digging a rut and getting stuck.


Sometimes it is appropriate to use the lower gears, but every situation is different.
