CONGRATS !! for helping your baby be here!!
my advice... follow your instincts.. you know what is best... if you feel the need to be alone.. please don't feel guilty cause someone wants to see the baby .. you and the baby come first.. like it was said lots of touch is important.. and if you feel the need for help don't wait on that either.! make sure you are eating .. and getting enough liquids.. we tend to forget that we need to be hydrated.. ;) and most of all.. love ever minute it does goes fast.. wont seem like it at first but the first weeks will fly by!!
I'm a mom of 3
congrats again
best wishes!
Spend a couple of days just relaxing. Lay in bed with your baby, touching, listening, memorizing every detail of that perfect body! Nurse on demand, allow as much skin on skin contact as possible, and don't be afraid to tell people to leave you and your baby alone! While help is a god send, these first few days are critical for you and your baby. You have just gone through one of the most trying experiences in a human life, but your baby has too. Try to make her transition as easy as possible.
get plenty of rest and go with the flow.
congrats , let your baby sleep on it's stomach , most people are adamant about putting a child on it's stomach , but they sleep longer and better. try it .... moniter first then if you like it continue.
Okay, here it goes. Get rest, make sure you are eating and drinking plenty of fluids. ASK FOR HELP! Enjoy And my #1 advice for new moms. You are the momma what you say goes dont let everyone else take control and make you feel guilty for this or that. You know what you want and this is your baby.
take it easy. don't have another baby in the next couple of months.
Sleep when baby sleeps.
first off..Congrats to you! Get plenty of rest, sleep when baby does..don't worry about a messy house, that can wait, take care of yourself and baby :) congrats again!
cook big meals ahead of time and freeze them for future use...
Trust your instincts, and enjoy them ... they grow so fast
