Ineed some tips and advice to give my toddler, when...?

my newborn will be born. Both of my toddlers know that mommy is having a baby, and they know that besides a bottle babies eat from as we call it her at home ';booties'; my daughter doesn't like saying boobs or boobies lol. When my cousin had her baby about 6months are so ago she was still breast feeding and my daughter was right at her side on the arm rest watching, it made me uncomfortable but my cousin was ok with it. How do I explain this to her that her sister will be eating from my booties too? Will her curiosity fade away after seeing me do it for so long or what? What do I need to expect?? thanks :)Ineed some tips and advice to give my toddler, when...?
explain to her it is natural and before their was infant formula their was breast milk, it is what we have boobs forIneed some tips and advice to give my toddler, when...?
My daughter was 3 when my son was born and she barely noticed him nursing. She will except it fine as long as you make it a normal part of the day and don't make a big deal out of it. Kids take for granted that you know what you are doing. Don't stress and don't spend a bunch of time point it out, just nurse your baby and your daughter will understand what is going on better then you might think.
God gave us boobs first for feeding second for our husbands pleasure. Its totally natural for her to be courious. She was too young to remember the last time you nursed. She isnt exposed to it on a regular basis.Let her be close to you while feeding dont make her feel its shameful or a private thing. And hopefully she will nurse her own when she has babies. I dont understand why any new mother wouldnt want to nurse its the most important part of nurturing and is a great way to start to enhance there IQ and immune system
don't bother explaining if she doesn't ask or seem bothered...i BF my 3 kids and the older ones never questioned why or seemed bothered by it. for young kids i would keep it as simple as possible...if she asks why tell her that some babies eat this way and some use a bottle till they are old enough to eat big girl food. most kids appreciate a quick simple answer imo

good luck!!
it's natural that your daughter is curious. if you're uncomfortable with her watching, allow her to stay in the room but use a sheet to cover yourself. chances are her curiosity will fade because she's young. kids jump from one thing to another pretty quickly. congrats on the upcoming baby.
