My names Ryan, and im looking for advice on how to consume Protein.
I play football and i go to the gym to keep up with the demands of our great game,
i want to know when the best time to take a PROTEIN SHAKE?
how much protein shake powder do i take in one day
then down to individual serve.
im looking to consume a shake 3 times a day.
anyway, could anyone provide me with some shake recipes to help my shake taste and be better

Take your shake before and after work out, have protein every two hours, either drink or tuna. Protein is used to help build muscle so the more you take the more you feed the muscles. It then depends on what you do with your muscles i.e. body builder vs football player. Three to four servings of protein drink with protein meals (fish, chicken) is ok. You can add a banana to the shake, or add some fruit (berries), or flavouring (chocolate or coffee), an egg or two. Eat plenty of vegetables for fibre.Tips And Advice On Consuming A Protein Shake.?
I would take it about an hour or two before working out... as thats the same with meals... for every 500 calorie meal you wait 2-3 hours but since its just a shake, its ok for 1 hour wait.
I would also drink a shake, workout and then eat 2 hours after as a shake i guess would work better on a fairly empty stomach. but i could be wrong :P
