Confusing question. xD

Anyway,

Depends if your funded or not.

Pure Str%26gt;Pure Range

But...

Pure Str%26lt;Range 2h

For Range 2h its simple.

Keep your range and your str the same, never go over 40 Attack, 0 DEFENCE, Mage maybe 25 for varrock teleport or 59 for all f2p spells, when training with range only train with iron arrows (or bronze if your not funded) untill in the 80's. With str, get 20 str, 5 attack, then 30 str, 20 attack, and 40 str, 30 attack, and finally 50 str, 40 attack and never raise attack again! Remember, keep STR = RANGE.

Hope this helps!Runescape advice or tips for me?
Pure strength is overrated, as is any pure build on any game.

Strength is important though, it makes you have higher damaging attacks.

You won't really need the best armor in the beginning. Once you hit 5 defense, strength and attack, get steel armor and scimitar/long sword. (I personally kept my steel armor until I could wear Rune.) Work on your strength, try to keep it 5-10 levels above your defense and attack.

At 40 defense and attack, get rune plate legs/plate skirt, rune chain-mail, rune scimitar/long sword. Continue building strength until it's about 55-60, get defense and attack to 50-55 and do the dragon hunter quest so you can wear Rune plate body.

It will take a while to match your neighbor if he's an older, more experienced player, but don't get discouraged, you'll get there eventually.
